The weather took me a little by surprise, especially when it comes to Denton's wardrobe. Luckily, I got some time to sew on Sunday, and managed to come up with some shorts for him from materials on hand. Here's pair #2, both on and off him.

The slowest part of the process was getting the featherweight adjusted to use the thick topstitching thread, which would've gone a lot more smoothly had I not put the needle in backwards.

You can also see here the progress of the scrape on his head, as compared to a few days ago.

I love how both Denton and the dog have similar expressions on their faces. More importantly, they're looking right at you!

Stella's fearful of light flashes; the veterinary ophthalmologist has made eye exams rather a rough experience, and I used the camera flash on her enough since then to make her fear the camera. I'm pretty sure all the shots I have of her licking her nose it's actually a nervous tongue flick.

So I see tense ears and jaw on Stella, while Denton's clearly thinking, "wait a minute, she's not actually letting me play with her camera."

I guess I cured Stella's fear of thunder easily enough that getting her to pose for photographs comfortably might well be well worth the effort.

Why does Denton appear to have such hairy legs?

Because Camilla does not yet have a copy of my DSLR high-ISO denoising filter to use in her Gimp :-)

My husband Sean joked that Stella should have a T shirt that says "Product of Genetic Manipulation" on her!

They say dogs and owners start to look alike. I am not positive about that, but these two seem to go together!
